I am proud to support and buy from US/Veterinary companies. A big plus in my book! What really hurts is that there is no darning ink on this ribbon. I had a dry tape nearly 10 years ago that left more marks than this "fresh" roll. When I opened the package and saw stains all over the plastic bag I thought I was lucky. The ribbon works on some typewriters from the 30's and 40's. It fit some of my Royal typewriters, but on some typewriters I had to rewind the tape because the spool didn't fit properly. The band itself is well colored and works as expected. I recommend a good pair of rubber gloves if you need to rewind or thread your typewriter's original tape reels. I have a Smith-Corona Skyriter that is at least 50 years old. I used it as a kid and dreamed of becoming a famous writer one day. When I called my mother to see if she had it, I was pleased when she said she had it and would bring it with her next visit. Ideal for most older typewriters. Good ink and it goes really well with my old Remington Rand. Those reviews that Remington typewriters don't fit DO NOT FOLLOW THE INSTRUCTIONS. They fit great, you just have to pull out the internal adapter clearly stated on countless YouTube forums, guides and tutorials. It's even in Remington's manuals, generations of people have used typewriter ribbon, and nothing has changed in 50 years.

Excellent ribbons! They are well soiled, tested on 2 typewriters, a 1937 Smith Corona and a 1940 Royal portable. Worked very well! I read some reviews about the lack of installation instructions, I don't see the point. These tapes are exactly the same as the ones I used 40 years ago.
