Review on Upgrade Your Gaming PC With Timetec 16GB KIT DDR4 3600MHz Memory Modules For AMD And Intel Desktops by Aaron Vazquez

Amazing Value for my opinion

This 3600 Mhz kit works flawlessly for me. It uses a specific IC that is known to work well with Ryzen. This is important since Ryzen is a bit more selective when it comes to memory and overclocking. These will tighten to 3600Mhz CL16 @1T given the right CPU and motherboard combo.Without getting into the details, it appears the most of the one star reviews don't understand memory "binning" and/or memory overclocking with Ryzen specifically. Yes, the stock JDEC (industry standard) speeds are 2400Mhz at 1.2v. You need to either manually set speeds, timeings and voltage or enable XMP for kits rated above JDEC speeds. At about 3600Mhz and higher for Ryzen, the memory clock speed and Infinity Fabric clocks can "de-couple". This will actually hurt performance unless the memory clock is pushed (roughly around 4200Mhz) to overcome this. If you're suddenly not getting the performance you expect, check this! This can be adjusted on 3000 series and above Ryzen CPUs. I've had it happen myself. Older Ryzen CPUs cannot decouple, so you're stuck at what the CPUs memory controller can handle.Your results will vary depending on the "silicon lottery" and motherboard compatibility. However kits rated at speeds should reach them provided no underlying issues. Higher end CPUs and motherboards will generally do better then value oriented ones. More memory is harder to overclock then less. Etc, etc.
