Review on C16 09209 C1609209 Quantity Tonneau Supports by Mark Powell

This is the same prop that was originally installed on my pickup truck body. Same part number, same fit, easy assembly on both sides in less than 5 minutes. So for me there would be no problems with the installation, that would be a reason for a negative rating. What I'm wondering is why the original wears out in 3 years? I had a different brand on my previous truck and they lasted the full 11 years that I had the truck and body. To make it half the length of other brands, I have to question the quality. Hence the 4 stars.
