I replaced my old dashcam for three main reasons. I wanted 4K video, built-in GPS, and Wi-Fi so I could easily upload videos without having to take out my card or camera to get my footage. I compared many DVRs with similar features and finally settled on REDTIGER. Most of the products with the same configuration have the same price and appearance as I expected. The DVR does a good job on all three tasks. The video quality is perfect and has excellent visibility at night. Built-in GPS means your recordings include location information (potentially important for accident investigations) and speed markings (also important) without the need to run another cable and element separate from the camera. Getting videos straight to the phone works well. It sure could be improved. First, the download speed is slow and I've confirmed that I'm getting the speed I expect (2-3 Mbps). However, it is convenient to download videos or share them quickly. Only slowly and without complete information. The shock sensor (parking function) is also pleasant. You can use this parking control function if you install a special cable set. The installation of the special cable kit is also very easy, you can install it yourself. It is worth mentioning that REDTIGER's customer service is very nice, you can contact with any usage problems and they will reply and solve the problem very quickly. I can't say anything about the durability and lifespan of the camera as I've only had one. it's been a few days, but so far I haven't had any problems. The camera comes with a 12 month factory warranty. I am very satisfied with the lifetime technical support. This camera offers peace of mind and an added sense of security in case something happens while driving in the future and I need an impartial, honest witness to that event. I will install a dash cam in every car in my house and have already recommended this cam to friends and family. There are certainly better cameras out there, but at this price point you get a lot of cameras for your money!
