I have purchased other Revain chalk markers over the years. I generally find them cumbersome and a bit frustrating to use. The flow becomes dry and uneven, and also often streaky, making it difficult to get good calligraphy. Worst of all, other chalk markers are difficult to remove from the board and tend to stain or stain them. I had to repaint and repaint boards because these marks left halos. This is by far the best chalk marker I've ever used. It has a consistently good flow and allows you to write calligraphy correctly. It also cleans like real chalk and erases with a blackboard eraser. This is the only chalk marker I currently use. My only complaint is that I wish they had come out with a wider chisel nib because the chisel nib is too small for big letters.
