Amazing lens for cameras and photography

The lens is sharp from the center to the corners wide open which is amazing. Stereo graphics projection allows you to create very beautiful images that look great even without dephishing (be careful). Only manual focus is no problem at all with this lens. Very solid build quality. Great lens! When manually focusing with this lens, you don't actually have to focus this lens through the viewfinder. You just use the distance scale and that's enough because at 8mm this lens has a HUGE depth of field even at the widest aperture. I usually set this lens to f5.6 and the distance anywhere from infinity to 2 meters. With this setting everything is sharp from infinity to around 0.5m. If your subject is 1m away you can (in theory) set the distance to 1m for better focus, but I doubt that makes a difference in value for the final image . So focusing this lens is very simple: set the lens at a certain distance and forget about it.

Pros
  • 8mm prime; Fisheye lens
Cons
  • Very expensive
