I received the kit and ten minutes after I opened the kit and used the tool I bought the kit for this was broken. I managed to cut a nail off with it before it fell into pieces. As someone who has worked as a machine designer for over forty years, I looked at the parts and immediately knew what the problem was. The part that broke was a very cheap porous cast that was then chrome plated. As children we called this type of pouring a metal pot because it was very weak. The part had to be either stamped steel and chrome plated, or even better, stamped stainless steel. I plan on finding something of a much better quality from a medical provider because I'm sure doctors use much better instruments because they won't replace them after each nail is trimmed. Something that costs two or three times as much is a better deal if it lasts a long time and gets the job done right. Garbage is never a bargain at any price.
