Review on πŸ‘Ÿ Teva Womens Tirra Sandal Bering Women's Shoes: Ultimate Athletic Comfort and Style by Jason Mulah

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I wish they were the same quality.

I LOVE my 5 year old Tevas. I wear them from February to November in temperate climates (yes I've committed crimes against fashion of socks with sandals). They are soft, comfortable and had a good profile in one place. THIS PAIR IS NOT AN ORIGINAL TEVAS. First, even though they're supposed to be the same size, they're about 1/2 inch smaller. Then they commit the ULTIMATE larger-shoe sin: the manufacturers didn't try to increase the shape of the insole to accommodate the larger foot. Rather, they just added lengths. This means the bow support that I loved on my old Tewas has been pushed back too far on these newer versions. Finally, the rear bar is too low (it's also a sin not to take into account the larger foot size). This is sooooo annoying! Why has the quality gone down in the last 5 years? For reference, the darker pair is the new/RETURN pair and the lighter pair is my old favorite pair (see worn profile as proof of my love).

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Mostly ok but...
