I am a petite woman and have always slept in men's/unisex crew neck t-shirts since childhood. I am pregnant and at around 23 weeks my belly was too big for my normal size S shirts and soon threatened to be too big for a size M. However, due to my height, women's pajamas and maternity pajamas did not fit me either. So I ordered them in sizes L and XL to try on. The big one fits me much better but it still has room and I think I can wear it comfortably until delivery. As other reviewers have said, it's really comfortable - not too thick and not too thin. It's a good weight for summer without feeling cheap or flimsy. It's so soft I'm surprised it's 100% cotton and it's survived multiple machine wash and dry cycles well. Will definitely be buying more, either L size to accommodate my tummy or S/M size as I lose weight. Just be aware that it doesn't cover your nipples at all since it's so soft. My husband liked the XL size, but vetoed it as soon as he looked at himself in the mirror (I think a t-shirt will fix that, but then buying a soft, comfortable t-shirt kind of defeats the purpose) . And if you're a woman, you MUST wear a bra or tank top underneath when going out in public. But great for home use, especially for the price.
