BIG disappointment

I wanted a simple and traditional clock radio with a sleep timer. One of the few offerings with a recognizable name was this Philips device at a reasonable price, which is why I bought it. Signpost for birds. He needs batteries in addition to the 110-volt socket current. Very bad sound quality. I would return it if I could, but I don't have the box or anything that came with it. But I have a trash can.
