Review on KICKER 10 Inch CompC 500 Watt 4 Ohm Single Voice Coil SVC Subwoofer, Explore 44CWCS104 for Powerful Bass Performance by Kim Tyger

I had an old sealed case with two Kicker Comp 10's in it. One of them was damaged so I bought this subwoofer. I don't like that the subwoofers don't match up in the cabinet, but it still sounds good. I hooked it up to my stereo at home. I hooked them up to an old Kicker car amp. The tricky part was powering the amp, but I did it using an old XBox 360 power supply. I just cut and spliced the wires, connected them to the amp, and plugged them into the wall. Works well. I have a Kicker CompR in my car and it was a lot louder even though I only had a subwoofer. I was thinking of replacing my current box with a CompR, but I need a more powerful amp. A good sub for the money. Don't expect it to deliver overwhelming bass, but it does boom a bit. Sounds good, like my home theater subwoofer.
