    Best in Automotive Electronics

    There's nothing better. I switched from an outdated single 12" speaker to one of these and it sounds great. I had my doubts about reducing the size due to the limited free space, but I was pleasantly surprised with the result.

    Terrible delivery methods

    The only complaint is that the subwoofer came in the original packaging in the bag, absolutely no protection, the packaging was a bit crumpled but the subwoofer works perfectly. I can see if they don't fix the shipping issue they will definitely have issues with this in the future.

    Great subs! fits component subwoofer

    I installed 2 of these in an enclosure I found at Revain and they hit really hard. They are connected to a 500 watt Rockford Fosgate mono amplifier connected in parallel and are therefore 2 ohms. So far I haven't been able to get them to distort, even at high gain settings. The build quality feels very solid and the ports are really easy to use. Just squeeze them, insert the speaker cable and release. In general I am very satisfied.

    Good but not good for component subwoofers

    I had an old sealed case with two Kicker Comp 10's in it. One of them was damaged so I bought this subwoofer. I don't like that the subwoofers don't match up in the cabinet, but it still sounds good. I hooked it up to my stereo at home. I hooked them up to an old Kicker car amp. The tricky part was powering the amp, but I did it using an old XBox 360 power supply. I just cut and spliced the wires, connected them to the amp, and plugged them into the wall. Works well.
