Review on Candor Rotatable Lightweight Flexible Cleaning by Fred Meeks

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Much better than a traditional broom than a push broom - easy to use EZ but expensive.

This is definitely an interesting broom, but it doesn't look like a real broom. The product description states that this broom is unlike anything I've seen before. I have to agree with this statement. I was expecting something bigger and more durable, more like a traditional broom with a dozen or more rows of bristles in a rectangular head. When I first opened the box I was a little surprised at how small and light it was. There's a broom. I went for the 18" wide version but it only has two rows of bristles making it very thin. It works very well as a regular brush and is easy to maneuver and clean effectively. The brush head rotates in two directions very easily (side to side) so you can easily get around objects and get into tight corners I believe this can be used like a broom as shown in the product description but that would be cumbersome and not very effective Used effectively as a push broom , the angle between the handle and the broom head should be adjustable (front to back) but it is not.The broom is very easy to assemble and the steel handle feels very solid. It can be easily adjusted to any length you like. The broom head is plastic yet strong The bristles are dense, soft and flexible, of good length and clean very effectively I like the small brush that e.g It was designed to clean the bristles and it works well with my other brooms and brushes. While I don't like this broom, I actually found it to be versatile and very easy to use on everything from floors to walls. It was intended for use in my husband's workshop but has now established itself in my kitchen where it will find widespread use. At the current price of $39.99 I find this broom overpriced for what it is. I'd rather buy it if it cost about 25% less.

Pros
  • INCLUDES AN EXTRA BRUSH: Ever picked up a broom only to find bristles covered in dust and other debris? This kitchen broom also includes a brush comb that allows you to quickly remove dust, dirt, pet hair and more from the horsehair bristles.
