For the price, this swing will meet your expectations. Like many others, I use it indoors as it's quite compact. On my 2.5 year old it was pretty wobbly and unstable on its own, which prompted me to cut out a pair of 2x4s (I cut out 78" to add on each side) and screw them into the stake base holes to secure each right connect and left side legs. This helped a lot and took about 20 minutes, but it still needs to be on a rug or pillow so it doesn't move too much or scratch the floor. Does the basement fool you for these winter months. In addition, the swing set does not contain any easily detachable parts, so it is recommended to buy several carabiners if you want to switch different swings on it.
