In short, for the price it's CRAZY, worth it. I'm completely blown away by reviewers who think weight equals quality; Lead is heavy. I wasn't expecting solid brass at this price point and it certainly isn't. an oversprayed clear coat that dripped on one side where it was down when they sprayed it. Some wheels turned easily, others hard, but the whole mechanism "crunched". Turns out they hadn't lined up the mold well on the spindle so it was crooked so when you tightened the screws you couldn't get into the hole but instead tried to push the whole thing and lock it in place. The Chinese factory knew this, but whoever was there just left the screw loose (because it didn't line up with the mounting hole) and seemingly let it work. Speaking of screws; to their credit they included 2 extra screws in case you lose or remove one, which you most likely will if you use the poorly fitting Phillips screwdriver that came with it; Use a different screwdriver. You don't have to unscrew the screw all the way to loosen the ring. As usual, the quality control of this foreign-made product takes place behind the door. I hope you have better luck than me. Luckily I figured out the problem so I rounded the hole to the point of almost breaking through but now it runs loose. Will I buy again? My income allows me to spend more on a better product when I find it. I would spend 3x more for a lower quality "movie prop" because I like puzzle boxes and such. TO UPDATE! ! Another star falls. I gave it to my son the same day and the opposite lid came off! It's held on with some cheap glue. My son will clean it up and use JB Weld Slow Weld and it won't come off for nothing. I can not believe it!
