BUT what I didn't like was how slowly the water flowed out and the pitcher (when full) became heavy when held. Everything else worked fine. The lid on this model holds up much better than my last Brita. The lid stays in place and is easy to fill with water and remove when needed. A simple filter that can be installed and replaced if necessary. I liked it, you can press the button on top of the lid and it will tell you what percentage the filter is. In general, the trade-off is that the water flows slowly I think.
