I'm a gardener first. I grow a summer vegetable garden in the Pacific Northwest. I grow green beans, not bush beans. At the ends of the rows, a wire is stretched between wooden or metal rods from above and below. A string is stretched between the wires so that the beanstalks climb upwards. I could always find little balls of yarn in my local gear called ivy/pea yarn. 2 goals would be all I need for the season. Despite being an agricultural area no one else seemed to be carrying this product so I looked for a replacement. The TW Evans Cordage is a four-ply poly-cotton cord that is almost an exact replica of ivy and pea yarn. It supports beanstalks without breaking. The 12,000 foot cone will likely outlive the rest of my gardening years. I am glad to have found this product.
