I bought the remote in hopes of reconnecting my subwoofer to the soundbar. It worked.
I'm having trouble connecting the subwoofer to the soundbar without a remote control. My old Samsung remote stopped working last year. I thought I might have to break down to buy a new sound system. As a last resort, I bought a replacement from Amazon, got a new one, put the batteries in and followed the instructions on the Samsung blog site. It worked and I only spent $10. Also, I now have a working remote control.
