I got ClearKleens All Kleen microfiber cleaning cloths for various purposes. The most important thing was cleaning the interior glass surfaces in my cars. Microfiber towels (and some elbow grease) are great for removing the haze that forms on the windshield. Additional duties: cleaning the screen of a monitor and laptop, cleaning the facades of metal and glass appliances, cleaning granite in the kitchen. Overall, the purpose of these towels was to try to reduce the consumption of paper towels through reusable fabrics. The towels looked great when I got them. They worked great too. and then I washed them. Remember I used a light wash with warm (not hot) water. I dried them over a towel dryer. The fabrics have interesting edge finishes where groups of fibers are woven into a weave, folded back onto the right side of the fabric, and then sewn from the edge. The corner finish is not very good as the finished edges are made as opposite, flat sides with no real adjustment for the corner. The reason for this is that one of my pieces started falling apart in the corner the first time it was washed. Mind you, this didn't affect the fabric in any way other than cosmetically, but after 3 washes, tangling started on both one edge and the opposite corner. At the moment two fabrics are looking pretty worn out after about 6 washes. The inside of the fabric is fine, but once the edges are pulled apart too much, the inner fabric will fall apart. I can probably get 502 or 503 stitches in the edges before it gets too big, but you really shouldn't do that on a nearly new piece.
