This solar charge controller is useless. From day one until 76 days later when he finally died, he did not perform well. The fan is loud and the device heats up terribly. It struggles to keep track of the required voltage and often doesn't save most of the available solar watts to top up our bank. I have noticed a steady drop in power from 7kW per day to 1.5kW per day. We have cleaned our panels regularly and still no cubes. The fan broke completely a few days ago and we ordered a Victron. It turns out that this ampinvit never got the job done from day one. We have learned how well our system is set up now that we have Victron. We are more than twice as strong with the same ratings. AVOID YOURSELF AND BUY THE BEST TO START, TRUST ME. THESE SUCK!
