I have tested my water 3 times since adding the Bioguard optimizer to my pool and the recommended amount on the pool calculator website allowed the optimizer to do what it claims, but THESE test strips are virtually useless. I would advise you to look elsewhere but they all have the same problem! There has to be a reliable borate test kit out there somewhere, via a test strip or reagent. If anyone knows - PLEASE ADVISE!
