I love my little multimeter, but it's cumbersome to use compared to the meter in this handy package. My small meter. The kit also includes a self-contained, handheld, non-contact voltage tester to determine if the correct circuit breaker has tripped before attempting to repair a faulty fixture. This works pretty well; It has adjustable sensitivity and worked great running it around some light switches, some outlets and our oven. The socket tester has 3 displays that show 6 possible socket conditions, only one of which is a safe condition.
