The drawer seems to fit fairly well, but it has two main problems. First, you can only extend it about two inches before it loses all grip and dangles off the dash. If you place a pair of sunglasses in the front area, you cannot remove them without pulling the drawer by the protruding edge, creating an act of juggling drawer and sunglasses; not something you want to happen while driving. I docked it to a star for this issue. Second, if you pull the drawer out too far, it will get stuck and it will be very difficult to pull it out. I gave it one star for this issue as it happens too easily. Think of it more like a hidden storage for things you don't need to access often and it solves that problem. But after looking at other projects and commenting on them; I'm not sure if any of the current "boxes" will be any different. The curb just isn't designed to have a drawer in it.
