Review on Self Adjusting ๐Ÿ”ง Dual Material Wrench - Crescent by Donnie Boss

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Wrench fair

I inherited an old one from someone. The nib broke and was difficult to use, so I threw it away and didn't even think about getting another one. Instead, I've struggled with standard pipe wrenches for decades. back pain. A (probably paid) review in Family Handyman convinced me to change my mind. My son gave me this for Christmas (thanks baby!). Since then I've been using Hell. Great third hand, vise and, yes, adjustable wrench. Grips objects that don't have a hex head, such as bird feeders and hex screws. The spring-loaded jaw can be annoying (pretty good for biting your finger in cold weatherโ€”GAH!), but a lot less annoying than trying to cheat with a spinning pipe wrench. This is the winner.

Pros
  • Hand tools
Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for the elderly
