Great quick release retractable device for people on a budget

I only received this product a few days ago so will update if I use it and see how its durability lasts. But on first use, it's a very good option for those on a tight budget. Please note this is my first "budget" quick release skewer (I previously had a smaller Manfrotto RC-2 but I went with this because I wanted something bigger) so I'm sure there are others good budget options out there. But definitely not a problem for the price. The red locking lever on the right was a bit "rough" when I first used it, but after a few dozen turns it seems to lighten up (I'm sure a little dab of WD-40 would have made it easier). precisely). The quality of the materials makes a pretty solid impression. Does it live up to Manfrotto's impeccable standards and durability? The time will show. Some have commented on the cast material. For me and my use on my Fuji X-T2 everything works fine so far. I don't scatter my gear or shoot while dangling from a chopper, so my material requirements aren't that high. But for general use it's fine for my needs so far. I currently have two Manfrotto MVH500AH video heads on a tripod and a monopod. This sleek video head is a nice, lightweight, yet durable option. The only downside, however, is that the quick release plate is snap-in (instead of sliding onto the plate from the back of the clamp). This has worked great for me for the past few years, but I'd like to insert the camera from the back of the clip rather than tilting the camera, dropping it into the clip and then locking it. This quick release system works great! I like that the red release lever is adjustable - if you rotate it and it gets too close to the bottom of the camera, just pull the red release lever and adjust it. For such a budget QR system, this is a great feature. Highly recommend if you are on a budget or just looking for a cheap option. In fact, if you have a high-end camera, you wouldn't consider this inexpensive option. But for those who watch their money, it's definitely worth considering. I definitely plan on buying another one (or maybe 2!).
