Review on Carty Strap Premium Colorful Straps by Hanson Kendrick

Two NATO straps ordered. One with an orange border and one with a red border. They arrived together and the packaging was perfect. Extra parts (tools and extra spring bars) came in a nice blue bag. Everything was good. The finish and quality of the stripes were evident. I slipped my old Seiko whisk onto the strap with the red piping, pulled it tight, and took two steps before it popped open. I was surprised and looked closely at the clasp. The tail on the buckle has slipped onto the back of the buckle. I put it back in and tried again. He freed himself again. I compared them and found that the shanks are different on the two tapes. I've added a picture to show the difference. A new tape is on the way, but I still have to deal with the hassle of returning a defective one. Somebody has to set up a Go-NoGo quality control system to make sure those tapes don't make it to the door. I had a $75 watch on my bracelet, but let's say I had a $1,000 dive watch on my bracelet and it broke off and fell to the ground. You can be assured that I will contact the company that sold the broken bracelet and ask them to pay the repair bill, which they will assume. But let's face it, this is a $10 band after all.
