useful multi-purpose kitchen appliance

The main advantage of this appliance is that it combines several kitchen functions in one appliance, in particular pressure cooking and slow cooking, along with an electronic timer and a range of presets (e.g. cooking vegetables) . It's not clear from the instructions, but the timer shows hours and minutes (0:00), not minutes and seconds. You'll figure it out pretty quickly, but it's worth thinking about from the start. I also wanted a pressure cooker with safety features and a timer; Having worked with old-fashioned weight-valve pressure cookers that required a flame on the stovetop and a weight on the pressure valve, I wanted a more controlled and safer method. This device offers it. The pressure relief valve is separate from the safety valve - a clever design that makes this step much safer and quieter than old-fashioned stoves. It's nice that they have a water-only test mode. good result. Broccoli pressure cooked in "Vegetable" mode, default setting is 10 minutes. default led to a somewhat overcooked result. You may have to use your own judgement, adjusted recipe times or trial and error as the cooker is convenient and saves steps but doesn't know everything. Made baked beans over low heat and they came out great. It can be beneficial to be able to go from quick-cooking one ingredient, say beans, to slow-cooking the rest of the dish. The pot is detachable, easy to clean and has an easy-to-read volume mark on the inside. I also notice that the bottom of the pot has a thicker metal layer, which means good heat distribution. The rest of the unit is tapered (wider at the bottom) and feels stable, not prone to tipping at all. All in all a good all in one and a compact way to combine two or more hobs into one. unit on your counter. Highly recommended.
