I already have a few Kasa sockets and they are easy to integrate in use with other products. I don't pay a monthly subscription, but I set up a notification and you can watch and download videos. I forgot how long videos are kept with a free subscription. The video is sharp and clear, the sound quality is good. The only downside I noticed in the first week of use is that the camera is sometimes sensitive to changes in lighting in the room. On a mostly cloudy day, which we also left the blinds open, we were alarmed every few minutes for several hours. However, when I looked at the video clips, all I saw was that the window got lighter and darker depending on the amount of sunlight. Well, personally, considering the price and how well the camera performs otherwise, it's not a big issue for me. And in about 8 days it was only one day that we also left the blinds open so the changes in lighting were more dramatic than the previous days. Overall very pleased and I think it's fantastic value for money!
