Great cam, but still needs work.

Overall the camera is great, it has a slim design, the camera is about 2.5cm thick and works as expected. The Kasa app makes it easy to add a camera, and the 2K resolution is nice and crisp. That being said, the camera still has a few bugs to fix. At the time of writing this article, there is no way to remove the watermark or add a timestamp. The only thing that worries me about the camera is the base and the location of the power connector. The pivot point is at the very bottom where most…

Easy to use, great picture

This is my first security camera purchase and I am not a techie. It was set up and ready to use in minutes. Here are some things you'll want to know. You need cloud storage or an SD memory card to use the features you bought it for. Otherwise, you'll get traffic alerts and no way to look back to see what you missed. I chose to subscribe to their cloud storage and it was easy and quick. The cost is $3/month per camera or $30/year or $10/month or $80/year for 10 cameras. For the SD card, you need

Cannot stream continuously

We bought this camera to replace another Wi-Fi camera we were using that was having network issues at times. We chose this one because it's connected to Google Assistant. Despite being twice the price of the other camera we used, the image quality wasn't any better. This camera also can't pan or anything and stays still. The camera was easy to set up, has a fairly clear image with both day and night vision. Connected to our Google home with relative ease and was able to view the camera on our…

Works great - Low price

I already have a few Kasa sockets and they are easy to integrate in use with other products. I don't pay a monthly subscription, but I set up a notification and you can watch and download videos. I forgot how long videos are kept with a free subscription. The video is sharp and clear, the sound quality is good. The only downside I noticed in the first week of use is that the camera is sometimes sensitive to changes in lighting in the room. On a mostly cloudy day, which we also left the blinds…

Easy to use and higher resolution than most other cameras and baby monitors

This was done to upgrade my existing D-Link 720p camera which was mostly fine but had poor night vision which is important for use as a baby monitor. I installed it vertically above the crib and to cover half of the bed where the baby is on his dock during the day. The field of view was large enough to cover everything. It comes with all the necessary accessories to install it - screws, a mounting rail, a long micro-USB cable (I wish it was the newer USB-C, but it isn't). In general, unpacking…
