My little one started tap dancing and of course she needed the right shoes. Not knowing if she would like it or not, my goal was to buy as cheaply as possible. I found her and everything seemed fine until it was time to knock. As it stands, the big difference in the quality of tap shoes is how well they tap β you know, that's the whole point of the shoes themselves. They make about the same noise as my high heels. This really takes away from the child the joy they might get in a tap dance class if there isn't enough chasing. My daughter didn't like tap dancing, so on the other hand I didn't mind since I didn't have much investment in shoes. On the other hand, if she had better shoes, they might have liked her more. I guess we'll never know.
