The video instructions don't say the plugs are inaccessible how little they understand in the video. You need to remove the two screws on the hood latch (silver screw holes in the picture) and remove the padding on the other side (different picture). Removing the entire bezel greatly simplifies access to the module. The inserted vehicle module is slightly recessed, but removing the black 10mm screw (pictured) allows it to slide out. With the module disabled it's very easy to pick up the colors of the fork and return everything as it was. Don't get me wrong, if you can assemble IKEA furniture, you can too. It's not as easy as it looks in the video. All in all I assembled it in less than 30 minutes. The only downside is that if you hit the brake before inserting the key, the car stalls. It's a good safety measure, but I need to retrain my brain not to hit the brakes.
