I bought 3 colors: putty, pearl shimmer and taupe. I'm in my 50's (fair skin, blonde hair and blue eyes) and don't like to look overly made up. These three colors together really captivate me! They are very easy to apply and blend well, but at the same time "freeze" to a velvety powdery finish. The mix tip is great! They don't age my eyes like powder eyeshadow. You can apply as dark colors as you like. For the day make-up I use a fairly subtle shade and for the evening I add a bit of dark gray to the crease and outer eyes.
