Strong chemical odor
It can't be real leather. If so, this material has been extensively damaged. It smells horribly like chemical plastic. I was hoping the first one would go live but after more than a week of hanging it hasn't died down. Feels and textures like braided phone cord. I would look for another brand. I've bought "leather cord" from several different vendors, some of them are great, but this is the worst.
