This drum cart was purchased for our family greenhouse to move 55 gallon drums. We converted plastic kegs, but you must follow the instructions and guidelines for using plastic containers. The instructions required me to put the bolts with the nuts and washers on top. I couldn't turn the screws down or the wheels wouldn't turn. So I cut out and put a 1/2" piece of plywood over the base with the stud pattern cut out. That way the weight of the water on the studs wouldn't penetrate my plastic barrels. The carriage seems to support the weight and allows us to pushing and rolling these barrels across the clean areas of our concrete floors.
