All pre-assembled for standard installation. I literally just plugged it into my motherboard's m.2 WiFi slot, screwed on the slot plate and attached the antennas, and that's it. PC booted up and everything worked. Works fantastic with Linux! One note: pay attention to the position of the Wi-Fi m.2 on the motherboard as the heatsink of the Wi-Fi card can get in the way when other cards (like the GPU) have to pass through. Still, I'm very happy with this card!
