I got tired of plugging and unplugging all my peripherals every time I had to take my laptop somewhere. However, since I have a Mac that is several years old, I needed a docking station with a primary USB-A interface. Unfortunately there is a HUGE sea of Type-A USB docks out there that claim to do it all, but if you delve into the finer details of the product, it turns out that even if it has 2-3 display outputs, Only one device can be charged at a time, otherwise your laptop will not charge or the USB speed will slow down quickly when multiple devices are connected at the same time. But thankfully, this one doesn't suffer from any of those crashes. I have both full resolution monitors, I have high speed ethernet, a couple of flash drives, a wireless mouse and keyboard, and best of all my laptop still charges. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a great docking station with minimal setup and great build quality!
