My son used this to work as an actor in a haunted house last Halloween. Despite our hopes, they fell apart after 2 weeks (the plastic side hinges broke). They've been using A LOT in that time (imagine kneeling about 200 times a night, 4 nights a week) so I don't blame the company entirely; However, we purchased the baseball catch knee pads after this pair fell apart and they have held up superbly for another 5 weeks of work and are still in great condition. If you get on your knees from time to time or maybe you need to do some gardening these are for you. Otherwise, you may want to invest elsewhere.
