Terrible hickey on the dashboard. I ended up sticking it on the dashboard until I decided to try it on the windshield. Amazing difference! He didn't even move in the almost 100 degree heat. Since I use my phone to navigate, it does get warm, but I can easily detach my phone from the mount with one hand by placing it over the air conditioning vents. So don't put it on your dashboard unless it's smooth as glass.
