Nice, bright and blue, but the light has a strange shape.

I installed this on my 2012 MB ML350. Installation was easy, works with no error codes. The light is quite bright. I wouldn't say it's super bright or brighter than new cars with LEDs or HIDS. However, it is a pleasing bluish-white color and fairly common. My only complaint is that there is a very gloomy/dark area just in front of the hood and then light from there. I'm not sure if it's a car or headlights. I've tried positioning the light in different directions but it's always there. Not a big deal but I was hoping the light would shine brightly on the floor and then fade rather than dim the light then fade.
