Review on AMD Ryzen 3900X 24 Thread Processor by Stanislaw Stan Stras ᠌

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

The temperature setting is excellent. On Gammax L240-v2 at minimum valve and pump speeds of 40 degrees in simple and non-resource intensive tasks. At medium speeds under the same conditions, it produces 32-34 degrees, at room temperature 26 degrees. As long as 40 degrees for him - the temperature is ridiculous, the revolutions without load are set to a minimum so that there is silence. Under load, it warmed up to 60-65. Turnovers, of course, rose, but quickly fell. Under extreme load, it was possible to warm up to 79. Who has 60-65 degrees at idle and 90 under load - check if you set the CO correctly. Is the heat exchanger evenly attached to the processor cover, is the thermal paste applied correctly and . is it applied at all. And whether the selected coolness is suitable for this stone. I wouldn't be surprised if someone tried to put a 65-watt windmill on it. Yes, in my case we are talking about a two-section dropsy, but it was taken more because of aesthetics. It's a 250 watt refrigerator that works exactly like 250 watt towers, no magic. Another thing is that CO must first be chosen correctly, then installed correctly, then configured correctly.

Pros
  • 12/24 is power. I took it for 31k, for such money you will not find such an offer anywhere. In single thread nose-to-nose with the I9 9900k, in multi-thread far ahead. High energy efficiency - peak consumption in the region of 140 watts. For a 12-core, this is not much. Intel's 8-core eats 220-240. Cold. Under load, it can warm up, but nothing supernatural.
Cons
  • Price? But for a 12-core, the price is great. It was before the crisis hit again.
