I needed a new machine to take the place of my Zyxel Keenetic Lite, which unfortunately passed away. According to the most recent version of the available firmware (V5.07.63.1 ru), everything appears to be working properly. But in addition to that, as was mentioned earlier in this post, I found that the ping time would occasionally increase. This is noticeable on Ip-Tv, as the picture will occasionally freeze for a very brief period of time. However, it was especially annoying when utilizing SIP telephony, as audibility would vanish for a couple of seconds before being restored again. When it came to Zyxele, things were different in the past. I checked the ping to the router (19220228.0.1) using both wired and wireless connections. Occasionally (about once every minute), the ping would jump from 1700 to 2022 milliseconds. This would happen simultaneously on both the LAN and the WiFi connections. After flashing the English version of the firmware, it appears that the ping delays have decreased; however, in the English version it appears that there are some issues with IGMP-multicast, and IP-TV did not function properly on it. I came to the conclusion that the one from 2022 should be returned, but not the most recent one, but the one before it V5.07.62 ru 03 (it comes with it from the factory). After the firmware update, I was unable to log in to the router's control panel; they also wrote about this issue; the router's factory-default password stopped functioning, despite the fact that no one has changed it. You need to press the reset button and hold it for 10 seconds; then, all of the settings will be reset, and the login to the control panel will be restored. The hardware reset of the router to the factory settings helped. On this firmware, the ping picture is better than on the previous 2022 one. On the wire (LAN), the delays have completely disappeared; on WiFi, the latency jumps exactly every minute up to 150-220 milliseconds; in general, it has become more tolerable. I am comfortable recommending this piece of software. There has been no response from technical support regarding the reported ping jump to 2022. I also attached a radiator to the chip because it can get quite hot, despite the fact that it functioned normally without a radiator. In spite of this, I found the router to be quite enjoyable in general:) If it weren't for the ping delay, I would have given it an unequivocal 5 ka.
