A useless product, its not worth the money.
The contacts in a USB connector are not arranged in a "matrix" of plastic like other connectors; rather, they merely dangle freely in space. A feature of such "austerity" is not present on any other device I have used, not even cheap Chinese players purchased from AliExpress for a tenner. The connector was able to withstand around thirty connections before one of the pins became off. The disc is now located in a different box, and we are able to confidently continue working on it.
