My situation is a router in the corridor, a laptop in the next room. Near the router, the bodies show 50 Mbps, near the laptop 2-5 Mbps (the neighbors apparently compete who will cover whom + the load-bearing wall). I was seduced by laudatory reviews, took this amplifier. Wound up out of the box without problems, the signal level increased. But the speed has become even lower. If you set a static ip + disable the dhcp server, then it shows 20-30Mbps over the twisted pair cable on the laptop (which is already acceptable for me). If you connect to the repeater via wifi, and not via twisted pair, then with the same settings - 5-9 Mbps. Outcome; as an access point still all right, but as a repeater it's a complete bottom.
