I've never had this happen to me but the dress arrived very very damp as if it was fresh out of the washer. The shipping packaging was dry and the item was also inside it's own sealed plastic packaging. The outside of the plastic packaging was also dry and when I opened it to pull out the dress it was really really damp. I inspected it for any stains or smudges and it was completely clean. I also daringly smelled the dress lol and it smelled freshly washed. I was bold enough to try it on and it fits, I'm 5'2 weighing at 166 lbs. The fabric is very thin so I would recommend going commando. I also have a dark line on my pregnancy belly and I ordered this in white, you can totally see my line lol it's extremely long and I'm stepping all over the dress but seeing the other reviews the maternity photos look amazing. I wanted to like it because I usually have a problem with the chest area since I have a small chest and to my surprise it was very flattering. Sadly, I will be returning the item and looking for a new white dress.
