Review on Auto Ventshade [AVS] Hood Shield Carflector Low Profile, Smoke Color 20055 Fits 2013 - 2018 Toyota RAV4 by Peter Mendoza

Overall a decent product in dire need of better quality control. Here are the pros and cons:PROS:• Adds a sportier appearance to any RAV4. Goes great with SE and Adventure grade models• Construction appears sturdy and of decent quality, doesn’t look cheap on the surfaceCONS:• Poor quality control (misaligned adhesive tabs/drill holes, misshaped connection points weren’t curved enough to closely attach to holes in hood with provided hardware)• Fasteners are purely plastic, cheap feeling and don’t feel secure (1 of 4 wouldn’t secure so mine is attached on 3 points only, but still holding up)• Considerable gap between deflector and nose of hood. This makes it protrude up more than you would think but it doesn’t look bad. Easier to clean area between hood nose and deflector.• No real practical/aerodynamic benefit, mostly aesthetic
