I am currently using this on a Sony a7ii. I was a little apprehensive about buying this adapter as it only supports Sigma lenses. I've had no problem getting this to work with any non-Sigma lenses. I've used it with Canon, Tamron and Tokina lenses with no problems. The autofocus works well, but a bit slower. Also, depending on the lens, the camera may not zoom in to help focus when using manual focus. I update the firmware whenever they release a new one and it's not that hard. If you're not willing to pay double the price for a Metabones adapter, you should definitely get the MC-11.
