Good deal at $149 when it went on sale

Received this as a gift at first but the recipient says it works great on their Sony A6000 with a Canon 24-105 lens I loaned them have. AF and IS work as expected, but maybe a bit slower compared to Canon's native body. However, he ended up returning it as the body of the A6000 is quite small and after installing the Canon adapter and lens he found it too bulky for the job. I'm more comfortable with the A7 full-frame body with a handle to balance the lens. Overall, this was a great deal for the

Works perfectly! fits lens accessories

I am currently using this on a Sony a7ii. I was a little apprehensive about buying this adapter as it only supports Sigma lenses. I've had no problem getting this to work with any non-Sigma lenses. I've used it with Canon, Tamron and Tokina lenses with no problems. The autofocus works well, but a bit slower. Also, depending on the lens, the camera may not zoom in to help focus when using manual focus. I update the firmware whenever they release a new one and it's not that hard. If you're not…

Looks very high quality

Manufactured by Sigma for some (not all) Sigma lenses and some other specific brands. Not all camera controls work with all lenses, but I have been fortunate to use some of my Canon lenses (mostly f2.8 70-200 L) and have good focus controls on Sony a6000 series cameras (a6000, 6300 and 6500). . . I buy my Canon EF Mount Sigma lenses because I switched to Sony mirrorless systems a while ago and can now use Canon, Sigma and Sony lenses as needed. I've had great luck with the MC-11 mount, it's the

All my Canon EF lenses work great with the A7iii

The adapter works as advertised (except for the LED light which never came on). My lenses focus perfectly even on AF-C. Tested on Canon EF 40mm, EF 75-300mm and EF 50mm 1.8. Everything is well focused, later there is autofocus on the eyes. Best of all, the 75-300 also benefits from an IBIS body, so shooting handheld at slow speeds works much better than my Canon body. Tried in low light. Older lenses are a bit of a focus hunter, but the latest 50mm 1.8s were very fast and extremely accurate in…

It just works. Be sure to update the firmware.

I wasn't expecting entry-level performance from this device, but I was blown away. My Canon lenses adapt to my A7iii and work like Sony lenses. In fact, my Sony 70-200 is sharper and the autofocus reaches 85 1.4GM. The Sigma 35 behaves exactly like the native EF mount version, except for focus noise, and even my unsupported Canon lenses work at full autofocus, including eye AF. At $249 it should be, but at $149 it's not a problem. Canon lenses are now being offered at huge discounts as people…

Ideal for Canon lenses with no loss of optical quality.

I'm sure a reputable one Professional and specialized in technical and image reviews. If you're reading this review, you already know that Sony's mirrorless cameras are awesome. Like me, you're probably looking for ways to use your excellent Canon glass with the Sony system. Simply put, the Sigma MC-11 is a great solution. But be aware that this is no miracle worker: BENEFITS: No loss of optical quality Excellent build and ease of use Fair price Most Canon EF lenses and others will operate at…
