Update: 15 Jun 2020: The seller contacted me and asked me to delete my original low rating and he refunded me $40 in the form of a Revain gift card or PayPal credit. It's now obvious that this seller doesn't care to be honest with the buyer, especially when they're selling this poor quality razor for way more than it's worth. They didn't want me to send the razor back but wanted me to remove the low rating review before they refunded the money. Requiring that I act in good faith first was a misjudgment to me. My good faith was the purchase. I should give up $40 just to show how cheaply made this poor quality item is and the cunning tactics of these types of sellers who issue a partial refund on this item that probably is nowhere near the asking price. I insisted that they issue a refund first and then I removed the review knowing that in good faith they would not take that step. I vow never to buy from this seller or others like them ever again. In the future I will be more careful when shopping with Revain and be careful of negative reviews from sellers I may buy from first. First review: Glad to get this and use it. It worked exactly twice. Before I realized this razor was poorly made, I threw the box away. After the first use, I opened up the rotating blades to clean them. The first sign of disaster was the plastic guard on the back of each rotating blade bursting, even though I carefully opened each blade. Before it was over, three of those shields fell off and I couldn't put them back on. It looks like the barely visible tab that attaches it to the back of the blade is broken or worn. I used the razor a second time. Both times the head shave was good. I plugged the shaver in to charge after the second use. The battery life is bad. I ended up noticing that the charging (or flash) LED kept blinking regardless of whether it was plugged in or not. The shaver would not switch on after the first connection to the charger. I no longer want to take the risk of buying cheaper, lower quality Chinese-made products. He gets one run instead of two because he collapsed.
