I bought different types and this one broke the first night! The same thing happened to me as everyone! The plastic clip fell off. Since I really needed it I used Gorilla Glue and it took quite a while for the plastic clasp to break. Luckily this strap had a flimsy little chain because I could thread the chain through the strap and just keep using it! Too bad they are so cheaply made but I can't live without one so since you have two and it has a chain if the latch breaks and you don't mind putting it on keep it. I couldn't do anything with the others I bought because the plastic frame broke making it unusable.
