I fitted these to a used bike for my 3 year old which was not included in the kit. He drove several minutes. They light up when he's going fast enough, the only problem is that he always wants to look back at the training wheels and not where he's going. I really think they increase safety for those rides just before arriving at night as little ones don't stay on the right side of the road. These are the glowing shoes of the cycling world. Installation was easy, they snap in so I had to add an extra nut as a washer (included) and the whole process took about 15 minutes. Everything could probably have gone faster if a three-year-old child hadn't helped me so much. Came with fitting tools, red reflector and a bell that attaches to the handlebars which my son loves. The bearings were a bit stiff, but after the first road ride they loosened up. All in all I couldn't be happier with this purchase and would highly recommend it to others.
